Published 09/12/24Wow! What a fantastic Book Fair we have held here at Northgate! Over the course of the week, we sold over £1500 worth of books: a huge achievement. This shows just how much we love to read here at Northgate Primary. All of your purchases have enabled us to earn £963 worth of free books for our school libraries. Thank you so much!

Published 03/12/24We ran a school-wide competition, encouraging children to read in unusual places. The winners, chosen by our team of school Reading Champions, then won a £5 voucher to spend at our Scholastic Book Fair.

Published 19/11/24What a pleasure it was to see so many kings, queens, princes, princesses and knights enjoying their royal tea party this afternoon. After making their own jam sandwiches, the children enjoyed music, cakes and fun. This followed on from a day of learning about the Royal family and Queen Elizabeth II and making crowns.

Published 19/11/24Year 6 had a fantastic day deepening their understanding of life in WWII, thanks to 'Portals to the Past'.
We tried on different British uniforms, held an Enfield rifle and even had a go at cracking some WWII codes sent from Germany! The children absolutely loved every minute.

Published 15/11/24What a great day we had on Friday 15th November. The children enjoyed snuggling up in their PJs and raising over £400 for Children in Need in the process. It is fantastic to be able to raise so much money for a worthwhile charity. Thanks for all of your support.
