Yesterday Year 4 children and staff went to St. Francis of Assisi school for the Big Sing. The children have spent 5 weeks learning 2 mass songs which they sang with the 3 other schools there and they also sang their own song as a school, "Blackbird" by Lennon and McCartney. There were over 300 children taking part.

Reporter Mark Norman, the Heath Correspondent from BBC South East, visited our school on Wednesday to talk to our children and staff about how we support our Autistic learners.
We at Northgate are part of The Autism Project which supports schools with how to help Autistic learners to manage and understand their needs.
With the help of our amazing Autism Ambassadors, we were able to showcase how we help our children and enable them to have a fulfilling and happy time as learners in school and to help prepare them for adult life.
As always, we are incredibly proud of how our children represented our school and how they were able to talk about what they had learnt in front of the BBC camera.
Well done everyone!
